What's in a Wet Bag?


If you're anything like me, you have a number of wet bags laying around the house, ready for any emergency that life with small children can throw at you. So just what can you do with a wet bag? Perhaps the more pertinent question would be, what can't you do with one! Read on...

Together with our fabulous Facebook family, we came up with 40 uses for the pop-in tote bags. Can you think of any more?
          Small Size
  1. For a day out – will hold 6 nappies
  2. Pop your used soap nuts in them to store until you’re ready to make floor cleaner, spray and wipe, shampoo, hand soap, etc.
  3. Bibs, dummies, spoons
  4. Toiletry bag for kiddies
  5. Keep your hand sanitiser, nappy rash cream, powder, etc together in the nappy bag
  6. Great to group small toys (ie, doll’s clothes, matchbox cars, little girl jewellery)
  7. Swimwear
  8. Snacks
  9. Drink bottles
  10. Wipes – wet or dry
  11. Hat, sunscreen, sunnies
  12. Spare change of clothes for a day out
  13. Nursing pads
  14. Cloth menstrual pads
  15. Last-resort travel sick bag (we kid you not)
  16. Homework
  17. Goodie bag for traveling (to include book, toy, pencils, colouring book, snacks)
  18. Dirty picnic utensils
  19. Medicine bag
  20. Peg bag
  21. Games storage

    Medium size
  22. For overnight – will hold 10 nappies 
  23. Toiletry bag for mum – can hold brush, hair dryer, make-up bag
  24. Swimwear PLUS a beach towel
  25. Library bag
  26. Overnight bag with spare change of clothes, pyjamas, small toiletry bag and toy
  27. Training pants and brolly sheet
  28. Makeshift change mat
  29. Bath toys
  30. Bedding bag for daycare sheets
  31. Shoes
  32. Knitting bag
  33. Sewing projects that you don’t want to get mixed up with other things

    Large Size
  34. For a weekend away – will hold 15 nappie
  35. The perfect size to use as a pail liner
  36. Dirty clothes bag – stored in the suitcase to fill as needed
  37. Beach toys – spades, buckets, ball
  38. One for each child to place on their bedroom door for dirty clothes – they just need to remember to empty it into the laundry hamper on wash day!
  39. Makeshift mattress protector
  40. Dropsheet for under the highchair
